Crystal Gold
Kelsey Mining District, El Dorado County 
This incredible specimen displays complex thick leaf crystals of native gold with complex overlapping formations. The thick crystalline gold is robust and a buttery yellow color with some quartz matrix attached on its side. Nearly all the sides of the specimen exhibit three-dimensional crystal of intricate native gold. Gold crystals from this California locality are rare and highly collectable and this example is an exceptional specimen.
