Worn Crystal Gold Nugget

Bonanza Creek, Klondike River, Klondike Area, Dawson mining district, Yukon, Canada

This incredible nugget displays multiple octahedron crystals in almost perfect shape. The crystals are slightly worn from being exposed to the natural flow of the creek but the aesthetics are still beautifully presented. The specimen also has complex chevron crystalline formations in some areas near the octahedral crystals which adds to the beauty of the specimen. Bonanza Creek is what started the Klondike Gold Rush and this specimen was found in the very same area the early gold miners were digging, fortunately, they missed this specimen.
