This specimen is probably the oldest and lustrous crystal gold I had the plesure to offer from the Sixteen-to-One Mine. Usually, gold that comes from this mine does not have much luster in its aesthetics. However, this specimen is lustrous all throughout and displays smaller micro crystals growing on its native gold faces with some micro quartz still attached. The specimen was purchased from a gold collector in California who stated it was acquired in late 1980. Specimens like these just don't come from this nowadays from my perspective.
