This magnificent native gold is a prime example of well-defined crystal gold in a leafy formation. Its large gold leaves stretch across the top of the specimen and run through the midsection still inside the quartz, slightly exposed. The native gold leaves display complex folds and curves and give off a perfect luster with a rich yellow array of gold hues. The native gold in the matrix with white quartz makes this piece an exceptional thumbnail native specimen.
