Native Gold on Quartz

This incredible gold specimen displays elegant branching gold crystals perched on a slightly reddish pink quartz matrix. The gold crystals are thick, well-formed, and sturdy, showing excellent luster and rich color. Their dendritic, branching growth adds strong visual appeal and makes the specimen especially desirable. On its reverse side the gold displays equally aesthetic crystals. Thick plates of leafy gold are beautifully formed along elongated sharped edged gold crystals. This mix of multiple geometric crystals with its lightly pink quartz matrix makes this specimen a fine example from the locality.
