Crystalline Gold

This rare and wonderful gold specimen displays robust sponge like texture. The gold is a rich saturation of yellow and high purity gold with unusual and unique crystals display throughout. Some areas of the gold crystal exhibit sharp flat lustrous faces and geometric crystal habits. The reverse side displays a section of limonite on matrix attached to the gold crystals. Its unusually beautiful shape and character makes this gold specimen highly aesthetic native gold specimen for the mineral collector.
