This incredible crystal gold specimen is incredibly rare because of its locality. Timmins gold mining district is extremely rich ground for gold. However, gold specimens from this locality don't come out to collectors to purchase frequently. This is because large mining companies who run the mines process all the high-grade ore including specimen ore into gold bullion, once in a while gold specimens do come out and this is one of those rare cases. The gold is incredibly rich in color and looks very close to Australian Victoria gold (in color) which adds to its aesthetics. The crystal faces are very lustrous and shine back under natural light. The crystalline structure is complex and randomly formed which under magnification is mesmerizing looking at all the tiny crystals it displays. An incredible crystal gold specimen from a rare local.
