Crystalline Gold in Quartz Matrix

This beautiful rich gold specimen displays a spounge like crystallization of buttery yellow bright gold. It was purchased by the privious owner from David New - possibly from the mine owner - in 1977. It displays small flat leafy gold crystals growing throughout the specimen. Its gold crystal growth is incredibly complex and magnificent to look at under magnification.
