Crystallized Gold with Petzite

An incredible and stunning crystallized gold specimen with Petzite, which is a rare gold and silver ore mineral. This gold specimen is very rare due to its Petzite mineral composition with gold and often almost never seen with native gold. The gold displays a rich buttery yellow color with sharp and reflective crystal faces. The Petzite is grown over the gold in thin overlay coating and in some areas also crystallized into sizeable Petzite crystals. The gold specimen features sections of highly modified slightly hoppered crystals - which are the long and curved lines of gold crystals on the surface. On the very tip of the specimen the gold has morphed onto a thick wire which are curved with visible Petzite inclusions on the surface.
