Crystalline Native Gold with Quartz Matrix

This impressive gold specimen exhibits a rich saturation of color and great luster. The native gold is sitting on top of quartz which has brownish sulfides still attached to the quartz. The crystal habits are mostly flat faces lustrous crystals of native gold with some nicely formed sharp ended crystals.
