Native gold such as this crystalline specimen display a complex network of multi crystal habits from wires to short leaf to clusters. Its incredibly interesting upon closer examination when each wire is overlapping and interconnected creating a mesh network. Other areas of the gold specimen exhibit clusters of sums of native golf with secondary growth. The short leafy crystals are a result of densely connected wire crystals forming plates of packed wires. Its bright yellow color and luster both complement one another. The specimen is highly textured and aesthetically pleasing to the micromount collector.
