Crystallized Gold
Eagle's Nest Mine, Michigan Bluff Mining District, Placer County, California, USA
This incredible lustrous native gold is a fine example of rare, crystallized gold from this locality. Upon closer examination many crystallized gold crystals developed into clusters of perfect elongated clusters with many natural dendrites on each section. In some areas the gold also developed short thicker dendritic crystal branching out and running through the surface. The native gold displays so much luster that it glistens under light like a gem. Nearly the entire gold is beautifully crystallized and visible on all sides.
