Crystallized Gold Leaf on Quartz

This remarkable gold sample, which was found by a prospector in 1986, displays an impressive visual aesthetics. It consists of native gold in crystalline leaf shape that formed from its white quartz matrix, with smaller crystalline gold evenly scattered throughout. The crystals vary in appearance, with some resembling short wires and others having flat faces that shine with a brilliant luster. The specimen is situated on a white quartz matrix, resulting in an overall striking appearance.
