This native gold specimen boasts a vibrant, bright yellow crystal with a complex and defined crystal structures. The robust crystal exhibits large geometric crystal morphology patterns with sharp striations, pointy tips, and angular edges. Its crystal habit is dendritic which means the crystals grew in branching habits or similar to a fern tree. Its solid, striking three-dimensional crystal, displaying complex formations with some smaller micro crystals attached on its sides. This gold specimen is a great example of a historical gold rush mining district that no longer produces incredible gold crystals such as this example.
