Crystallized Gold on Quartz

This incredible gold specimen on quartz displays one of the most beautifully crystallized gold we had to offer. The gold exhibits a large leaf crystal with incredible luster and three dimensional shape on a white quartz matrix. With the contrast of the native gold it glistens in incredible high luster and difficult to not notice. The gold is so lustrous that under normal room light it still shines very sharply. The surface on the crystallized gold exhibit trigons which are perfect triangular indents that naturally formed when the gold slowly cooled under pressure. The gold is visible on both sides of the matrix and developed into what’s called a ribbon like leaf crystal. This specimen is a great example of bright crystallized gold from this locality.
