Crystallized Gold on Quartz

This very rare gold specimen displays fascinating crystal morphology and an exceptionally aesthetic appearance. The native gold consists of thick, well developed crystallized growths clustered closely together, creating a rich and solid-looking gold on quartz specimen. The gold exhibits a bright, buttery yellow color from nearly every angle, with individual crystals catching the light and shining almost like tiny gems under sunlight. In several areas, the gold has developed slightly dendritic growth, with delicate branches extending and overlapping one another. Upon closer examination, the crystals reveal intricate surface striations along with small, flat microcrystals developing alongside the larger formations. The contrasting white quartz matrix provides an excellent backdrop, allowing the brilliant native gold to stand out beautifully. It would make an excellent addition to any serious native gold or crystallized gold collection.
