Crystallized Gold on Volcanic Matrix

This incredible gold specimen displays complex and lustrous gold crystals on a section of quartz vein while having a darker volcanic matrix. The gold is spread throughout the front section primarily with intricate and geometric growth patterns. Some crystals developed perfect cubic symmetry while others are short wire like crystal habits. The exceptional luster on some of the crystal sis also a unlikely feature from this locality which make this specimen unique. Its color is a saturated bright yellow showing a high purity gold content which usually gold from Nevada are pale yellow color in contrast to this naturally appealing specimen. Gold from this locality is very scarce and this specimen is a prime example of natural crystallized gold.
