Crystallized Gold with Cubed Arsenopyrite Crystals
Belshazzar Mine, Quartzburg District, Boise County, Idaho, USA
This incredible gold crystal is one of the most interesting specimen with a lot of character and aesthetics. Its crystals formed a network of slightly dendritic branching crystals and closely clustered together. Between stepped formations layer by layer crystallized arsenopyrite crystals are attached to the branching gold crystals. This mix of minerals provides a unique formation and harmony for this gold crystal specimen. The native gold crystals are very lustrous and shine brightly like a gem. Some of the arsenopyrite crystals provides a sparkly metallic gray shine. Upon closer examination the network of gold are a fascination of flat and geometric angular crystals of native gold. This gold crystal is a great representation from its locality.
