This incredible lustrous native gold on quartz is a fine example of rare, crystallized gold from this locality. The gold developed into clusters of leaf crystals and modified flat geometric leaf crystals. The native gold displays so much luster that it glistens under light like a gem. The native gold crystals in some areas are flat and complex with geometric crystal habits. The native gold is a buttery yellow color and is a perfect contrast with the white quartz matrix.
