Crystallized Gold with Quartz

The gold specimen here displays thick angular gold crystals with lustrous flat faces. The gold is in matrix with white quartz which bring out its natural aesthetics. In some areas the gold has developed into a cubic twin crystal with small modified octahedral crystals. The blocky crystal habits and lustrous crystal faces are a rare example for its locality.
