Crystallized Leaf Gold with Quartz

This striking gold crystal displays mostly sharp edges with textures surfaces and interesting crystal habits. The gold crystal is a complete leaf with its edges sharply crystallized and some areas exhibit branching crystals. Its surface is smooth but quickly becomes textured with complex striations and wavy formations as a complete crystal. On the reverse side the crystal developed much more robust striations and textured surfaces. The white quartz attached to its side adds to its natural beauty. With its beautiful saturated buttery yellow color and bright luster this native gold is a perfect example for the mineral collector.
