This exceptional gold specimen features striking angular crystals with excellent reflective properties and defined crystallized faces that give it a visually pleasing appearance. The native gold matrix is complemented by some quartz, adding to its overall allure. The gold itself is a vivid yellow hue and of high purity, with distinct flat right-angled crystals that are rare and distinctive. The locality where this specimen was discovered was fortuitously stumbled upon during construction work late last year in 2022, but access to the area has been restricted, making any new specimens from this location unattainable.
