Crystallized Native Gold

This rare natural gold specimen displays complex short crystals clustered together forming this large sponge like textured gold specimen. It exhibits thick robust crystals in some areas with smaller crystals sounding it. The crystals mostly formed in layered configuration where each layer is a modified thick leaf crystal that has smaller crystals growing on its surface giving it a textured spongy appearance. Some small amount of quartz is visible in its interior. The reverse side displays thick gold crystal clustered forming a dendritic pattern with short spiky crystals within its interior. The gold specimen displays a rich color saturation and, in some areas, good luster.
