Crystalline Gold

This crystalized dendritic gold is a rare example of what native gold from the Kalgoorlie region looks like. Many people are used to seeing gold in rounded nugget formation. However, this example of native gold was well preserved in its host rock which kept its natural aesthetics. The gold specimen displays exquisite miniature crystals in a curved direction creating complex crystalline structures. This gold specimen is a prime example of ultra-rare gold from Western Australia.
