Dendritic Native Silver Crystals with Thin Native Crystal Leafs in Calcite Matrix
Bouismas Mine, Agdz, Bou Azzer mining district, Zagora Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
Truly a beautiful native silver specimen displays dendritic growth in white calcite background. The silver on some areas seems to have a cubed formation that’s stacked to form incredible sizable crystals. The growth of the crystals is thick and solid with very complex angular faces seen everywhere on the native silver and inbetween there are thick silver leaf crystals which have not yet formed into thick cubes. Other silver sulfides are also present which are much darker in color in compression to the native silver. On the back side there are thin plates that form long leaf crystals with sulfides growing on its sides.
