Flattened Gold Octahedron Leaf

This well-developed gold specimen is actually a modified octahedron crystal which grew into a leaf habit. The native gold specimen is unusual and very unique as it displays twin wires which are striking out on its side. The gold specimen also has a secondary three dimensional leaf growth layer overlapping the main crystal on its top. The gold crystal specimen is very thick and robust solid native gold specimen from a very rare locality.
