Gold Crystal

This gold crystal is an excellent representation of naturally crystallized gold from this locality. The specimen features an intricate cluster of short, branching crystals that overlap and intersect, creating strong visual complexity. Several crystal surfaces are flat and terminate in lustrous, plate-like tips that enhance the specimen’s brilliance. Most of the crystal forms exhibit rare striations of leafy crystal morphology, a highly unusual and distinctive feature. The gold displays a rich, warm saturated yellow color that is evenly distributed throughout the specimen. On the reverse side, a leafy branching crystals is present, tightly bound and surrounded by native gold. Gold specimens from this locality are rare and seldom available to mineral collectors.
