This gold crystal is an excellent representation of naturally formed gold from this locality. The specimen features an intricate cluster of short, branching crystals that overlap and intersect, creating strong visual complexity. Portions of the gold display flat surfaces with bright, lustrous plates at their terminations. The dominant crystal habit consists of elegant leafy structures, an uncommon and distinctive morphology for gold. The specimen exhibits a rich, warm saturated yellow color that is evenly distributed throughout. Gold from this locality is rare and seldom available to mineral collectors.
