Gold Crystal
Irish Gulch, El Dorado Creek, Dawson City, Yukon, Canada
This gold specimen showcases a highly uncommon and distinctive crystal habit, originating from a rare locality. The gold crystal is a subtly modified spinel twin, featuring thick, geometric crystals that branch outward along its sides. Its deeply saturated color and strong luster make this specimen particularly striking. Upon close inspection, the surface reveals an intricately textured, uneven, and naturally complex character that enhances its overall visual appeal. The reverse side exhibits deep striations, complemented by even more robust textured surfaces and prominently branching geometric crystals.
