This exceptional native gold crystal displays a rare and highly aesthetic dendritic growth with a striking spinel-twinned structure. The elongated main crystal terminates in a sharp, fully developed split-leaf fern formation, where the gold naturally divides into two gracefully curved twinned crystals that extend outward, creating impressive depth and visual movement. Much of the specimen exhibits intricate intergrown “herringbone” crystallization, with elongated V-shaped gold crystals resembling the pattern of a fish skeleton. Additional areas reveal tightly grouped cubic gold crystals growing side by side, adding further complexity and texture to the piece.
