Crystalline Gold with Pyrite and Quartz 
El Dorado County, California 
 
This is a super nice and very lustrous crystalline gold from northern California. It is very rare and hard to find for sale as collectors love gold from the El Dorado locality. The fine buttery yellow gold color this piece displays is beautiful in contrast with the pyrite. The individual gold crystals are leaf-like gold vein elegantly rising from within the white quartz. This mostly gold specimen is a prime example of ultra rare crystalline gold from California, El Dorado County. Specimens like this is one of the better examples from my years of collecting natural native gold.
