Crystalline sponge gold

This is a super nice and very lustrous wire sponge crystalline gold from northern California. It is very rare and hard to find for sale as collectors love the fine texture of sponge gold. The individual gold sponge like crystals are beautifully displayed in matrix with a small pyrite crystals near the top portion of the specimen. This mostly sponge gold specimen in a prime example of ultra rare sponge gold from California. I have never seen another crystalline wire sponge gold specimen with pyrite in matrix of all my years of collecting gold specimens.
