Gold Leaf Crystal
Campbell Mine, Red Lake Gold District, Kenora District, Ontario, Canada
This native gold specimen showcases a vibrant, bright yellow crystal with excellent luster. The robust gold crystal exhibits intricate, flat leafy growth patterns with sharply defined edges and a rich, buttery yellow hue. A thin coating of iron sulfide matrix adheres to the leaf gold crystal. The specimen is highly displayable and sizable, thanks to its broad crystal formation. It is a prime example from the now-depleted richest mines in Canada.
