This exceptional gold nugget discovered in the arid Sonora Desert is an exceedingly rare mineral specimen that is often inaccessible to collectors. Unearthed by a local prospector in an ancient tertiary gold-bearing channel, its surface exhibits a remarkable luster with crystallized faces interspersed with rugged and smooth areas. The reverse side also displays smooth natural flat surfaces with a comparable luster. Overall, this gold specimen is a solid, chunky piece with a rich, saturated buttery yellow color.
