This extraordinary gold nugget, found in the dry Sonora Desert, is an exceptionally rare mineral specimen that is typically difficult for collectors to obtain. Discovered by a local prospector in an ancient tertiary gold-bearing channel, it showcases a remarkable elongated shape. It displays good luster with smooth and rugged areas on its surface. The reverse side features similarly smooth natural surfaces with a matching luster. Overall, this gold specimen is a substantial, chunky piece with a deep, saturated buttery yellow hue.
