This gold nugget, discovered in the dry Sonora Desert, hails from an exceptionally rare location, making it highly sought after. It originates from the same deposit mined by the ancient Aztecs and Spanish Conquistadors for currency, jewelry, and other valuables. A local prospector found it in a rich, ancient riverbed. The nugget has a vibrant, lustrous surface with strong textures and a complex structure. It is heavy and thick with distinct crystal separations, and its bright yellow color makes it a remarkable specimen from this region.
