It traces back to the same deposit exploited by the ancient Aztecs and Spanish Conquistadors for currency, jewelry, and other treasures. A local prospector discovered it in a rich, ancient riverbed. The nugget boasts a vibrant, shiny surface with pronounced textures and a complex structure. It is dense and substantial with distinct crystal separations, and its vivid yellow hue makes it a unique specimen from this area.
