This gold nugget, found in the arid Sonora Desert, originates from an exceptionally rare site, making it highly prized. It comes from the same deposit that was mined by the ancient Aztecs and Spanish Conquistadors for currency, jewelry, and other valuables. A local prospector uncovered it in a rich, ancient riverbed. The nugget features a vibrant, shiny surface with smooth textures and an elongated form. It is heavy and thick with a distinct shape, and its bright yellow color makes it an outstanding specimen from this region.
