This extraordinary gold nugget, unearthed in the arid Sonora Desert, is an exceptionally rare native mineral, often unattainable for collectors. Originating from the same deposit mined by the ancient Aztecs and Spanish Conquistadors for currency, jewelry, and other valuables, this specimen was discovered by a local prospector in a rich ancient river bed. The  gold nugget features a vibrant, lustrous surface with robust surfaces and a complex structure. The gold nugget is heavy and thick with thick crystal separation. Its bright yellow color makes it an exemplary specimen from this locality.
