Gold Nugget

This remarkable gold nugget, found in the dry Sonora Desert, is an exceptionally rare specimen. Discovered by a local prospector in an ancient tertiary riverbed known for its gold deposits, this nugget displays a striking luster, with smooth faces in certain areas and rugged, robust surfaces in others. On the opposite side, it showcases smooth, natural surfaces with a similar sheen. Additionally, some parts of the nugget are thinly coated with a natural reddish tone, likely from iron oxides. Overall, this gold specimen presents as a solid chunk with a rich, buttery yellow hue.
