This gold nugget, found in the dry Sonora Desert, originates from an incredibly rare location, making it highly prized. It comes from the same deposit that the ancient Aztecs and Spanish Conquistadors mined for currency, jewelry, and other valuables. A local prospector uncovered it in a rich, ancient riverbed. The nugget features a vibrant, lustrous surface with strong textures and an intricate structure. It is heavy and solid with distinct crystal separations, and its bright yellow color makes it a remarkable specimen from this location.
