It traces back to the same deposit mined by the ancient Aztecs and Spanish Conquistadors for currency, jewelry, and other treasures. Unearthed by a local prospector in a rich, ancient riverbed, the nugget features a vibrant, shiny surface with pronounced textures and a complex structure. It is dense and substantial with distinct crystal separations, and its vivid yellow hue makes it a unique specimen from this region.
