The native gold forms a remarkable halo of layered leaf crystals that encircle a naturally hollow center, creating strong visual depth. The oxidized quartz matrix is tightly connected through by a network of thick, solid gold vein, with sharp leafy crystal tips gently emerging from the base of the quartz. Its rich golden color, combined with a unique luster created by fine micro-crystal growth across the leaf surfaces, gives this specimen exceptional character and makes it a highly desirable piece for any serious mineral collector.
