Gold on Quartz

Lustrous, graceful clusters of flattened octahedral gold crystals sit atop a natural pedestal of quartz matrix displaying a showy specimen with quite a lot of pizzazz for any gold. In person, it is much more magnificent and has brilliant luster as you can see from reflected light spots in the pictures. Moreover it exhibits thick robust crystals branching out on either directions making this gold specimen very three dimensional and sculptural in shape. Also, the crystals are sharp, well defined and better looking when viewed in person. This is one of the prime examples of native gold from this locality.
