Crystallized Gold on Quartz

This native gold crystal displays an incredible vibrant yellow hue on a dark quartz matrix. The gold has crystallized into many flat faces showing off a very high luster. Other areas of the gold specimen include clusters of thick chunky gold. The lower portion of the specimen display small arsenopyrite crystals. The native gold crystals are visible all throughout the quartz and can be displayed on either side. This rare gold crystal specimen is a prime example of leafy aesthetics for its locality.
