Gold on Quartz

This incredible gold specimen displays thick dense gold on top of a white quartz matrix. The gold is a rich yellow and some textures areas display luster. Its appealing saturated yellow color is due to its high gold content. The native gold is very solid and almost completely coverers the majority of its quartz in some areas making it very displayable. Gold from this locality is not often seen and this example is a very aesthetic native gold specimen.
