The specimen developed in a rare herringbone crystal habit composed of complex maze of interlocking formations of gold crystals, each displaying sharp edges, well-defined faces, and extreme luster. What makes this piece especially remarkable is the blade-like formations. While the front exhibits the striking herringbone structure, the back is a mirrored reflection of its front facing dendritic gold crystals. The gold is naturally perched on a contrasting quartz matrix, enhancing the rich buttery-yellow color and brilliant luster of the native gold.
