One of the finest native gold specimens from this locality, this remarkable specimen features brilliantly crystallized gold elegantly displayed on quartz matrix. The gold has developed into an intricate network of rare skeletal crystals known as "herringbone" growth, named for its striking resemblance to the structure of a fish skeleton. Adding to its rarity and complexity, some of the gold wires are adorned with sharp octahedral crystals that have formed in a distinctive spinel-law twin arrangement. The crystal architecture displayed on this specimen represents some of the most unusual and sophisticated gold crystallization found in nature. Exceptional luster enhances every detail, creating dazzling reflections across the crystal surfaces and elevating its already extraordinary aesthetic appeal.
