An exceptional Imilac meteorite specimen from Atacama desert, Chile. Imilac is considered to be one of the most beautiful of all meteorites. This Imilac meteorite still has its original fusion crust layer created from eminence heating when entering the earth's atmosphere traveling faster than a bullet. It was found unburied and still on the surface and since the desert is a perfect place to preserve meteorites most of its features remained preserved from the day it fell. It displays greenish to golden green olivine on the front and in the back, it has golden fiery red-colored olivine. It's an exceptional specimen and very beautiful indeed.
