Leaf Gold Crystal
Sonora, Mexico
This remarkable gold crystal, found in the dry Sonora Desert, is an exceedingly uncommon specimen from a unique location, often difficult for collectors to access. It was unearthed within a local quartz vein abundant in pockets of crystallized gold. The crystal's leaf-like surface displays a brilliant shine, highlighting clearly defined spinel crystal patterns and distinct octahedral formations of robust native gold. On the opposite side, it features naturally dense crystal clusters with a comparable shine and intricately sharp crystalline exterior. In summary, this gold specimen is a substantial piece with a deep, rich yellow hue, representing an outstanding example from its specific locality.
